Transition3

Transition.
Generational
pivot
point,
like no
other.
Baby boomers.
Born into
simplicity.
Phones
on the
wall.
Party lines.
One
black and
white small
screen.
Doors
unlocked.
Free reign
in the
neighborhood.
Be home
when the
lights
turn on.
Three TV
channels.
One half
hour of
TV news
each day.
No
handhelds,
personal
computers.
Ball
at the
park.
Jumping
rope.
Hopscotch.
The turn.
Pace picks
up.
Pong.
Packman.
Asteroids.
Duke Nukem.
Off and
running.
New games
appear,
all but
real.
Large
smart TVs,
everywhere.
Hundreds
of channels.
Computers
on the
wrist.
Trying to
keep up.
Biotech.
Infotech.
Nanotech.
Internet,
and the
cloud.
Androids
on the
way.
Out of
nowhere,
A.I.
Powerful
speedy
changes.
Boomer’s
generation
like no
other.
Born
in the
simple.
Moving
on in
pandaemonium
