WATER SHORTAGE

WATER SHORTAGE
There was no pipeline of sorts
If so, Grandma never complains
After all, there was the river below
That satisfied our ego on the go
And grandma never complains
Rain was scared, you know the rest
The asphalt drum remains empty
Yet still grandma never complains
If by chance a passing shower
Would suffice her for many hours
Washing and cooking had their merits
That’s the way it was for many years
Around the house, animals still graze
A day at the river, you would be amazed
How our family enjoys this simple craze
It was our life without dependency
There were no pipelines; she cared not
The years went by, never was there a cry
About Wasco or any other guy, that’s why
Dependency makes truancy much too fancy
Back here in Cannels, Grandma Leslie and I

It is very clear to me that even without, what many would claim to be modern admenties, your grandma never complained about any thing? She was quit satisfied with the simple free things in life such as animals and rain. She already had everything she needed in the world, unlike me she never once complained! Kenvil, you have a blessed poetic story telling gift, it is plain to see, for writing non-fiction narrative poetry
