REMEMBER ME

poem by: Roxanne Dubarry
Written on Oct 23, 2025

Remember Me!
When I am gone,
every time you hear the birds
sing or the poet's
song.
Please think kindly
of me, and cherish
my memory.
Dearest Mother,
Eleanor May,
I will always
remember you,
and all of the
beautiful things
you used to say!
and do!

I will meet you in the morning
In the dawning of the sunrise,
Where there are ne'er more
Echoes of sadness nor memories
Of sorrowful pain.

I will meet you in the morning,
Noon or night,
When the last trumpet sounds,
And the dead in Christ will rise
In glorious victory!
