Decepetion

When I saw you in the light
I thought it was you illuminated

Oh, how wrong I was

You were part of the darkness

Only a blockade

Keeping me from feeling the true warmth

You are cold cold deception

Taking my already fragile heart
Crumbling it right in front of my eyes
it shattered at OUR feet

Yet you had to nerve to say
"You're crazy, I never hurt you."

You held my crumbles in your hand
You know what you did to me

Your deception grew
Molding my crumbled heart back to shape
Like it was something so simple

I admit I felt better watching that
The carefulness of your hand
You smile at me, eyes dark

To only crush me again.

You choked my soul
I crumpled to the ground
All I saw was darkness

Only to awaken on the cold floor
Lying in the dust of us

Yet, you called this love.

If that's what he calls love--what then does he call hate? You are much better off without him, but you also need to be able to forgive him. But please don't be fooled by his darkness again no matter how much he may want to both control you by having his power over you...
