THEY PIPE ME GRIEF

THEY PIPE ME GRIEF
Youth of today, old men of tomorrow
Choices of today, regrets of tomorrow
Oh, how time flies by to commitment
And the soul that sinned shall die
Wait upon the Lord for instruction
Or face the manifestation of tomorrow
Once I was a young man true to myself
Divine instruction, I forgo completely
I walk in the spirit but not in the light
Like a rolling stone, I gather no moss
My spirit shone as the dew from heaven
Tho I support a generation that pipes me grief
The sun still hung in the sky, so why ask why
Great is the Almighty, yes, my soul finds refuge
For goodness carries to immortality beautification
