Looking forward into 2024

Instead of making a  list and checking it twice
trying hard to be not naughty but nice and
randomly writing a list of New Year's 
resolutions that I neither could not
or otherwise would not even try to
faithfully keep. Hallelujah Alleluia!

Proven to me to be just as
worthless of trying very hard
to fall fast asleep by vainly
counting white sheep jumping
over a low white picket fence!
Maybe works much better with
some ladies and gents? Alleluia!

I have been visiting some of
my poetry sites trying to
glean some words of  poetic
wisdom inspired by none
other than my blessed
Savior and my wonderful
Lord Jesus Christ!

Will this reestablished positive
directions in my poetic life 
be either productive or 
'just blowing in the wind."
Will I prove to either be
either unfaithful or faithful
to Jesus Christ?  Alleluia!

Only God has the answers to
all of  my questions in my life,
I desire to become a faithful
follower of Jesus Christ, the
author and the source of my
everlasting life Hallelujah Amen!

 All of my love in Christ Jesus!
