Moor Alone

      Moor Alone

I am alone on windswept moor
Watching birds flit azure sky
Clouds for company for sure
But deep within I sigh.

Heaven away from steam
Jubilee hoped where I roam
Factories past from whence been
Inside within I'm home.

Ex-Prisoner onwards, up up up
Feet was sod heavy climb climb climb
I feel transformed drinking cup
Drinking full mug un signed.

Far away, no one to see
Inner voice tells no answer bound
Talk distance wireless free
Nothing left but my own sound.

Ocean Blue far above
Kissing grey below
Torrent wind blow to shove
Lungs alive with bellowing glow.

Oh! Repose deep prisoner lost
Bird un caged flying, 'ever tweeting
I feel so sure like a boss
Now I'm child laughing and eating.

Top I am Peak Heaven high
Around a world all for thee
Feelings take life imposter sigh
Laugh aloud joyest tree.

Branch rustle in the mourn my ear
Deep awash of remembrance so
Oh a weep, a tide a tears
Gladden my heart and I'm the go.

Rain falls on summer day's rest
Rocky ground once dust now bathed
Face wet both with tears and zest
Low tide risen and I am saved!

Lake side in the lake
John wiped sins for them
Freedom all for our sakes
Then take it all add ten.

Hill above I do stand
Alone thoughts run wild
Roads once blocked now bland
Making good Earth more tiled.

                    31st January 2015
