On a Tuesday Red Dawn

Content Note: Celebratory tribute; references disability and resilience.

Born on a Tuesday—
red dawn as it was,
three hours of striving
for a lifetime of love.

Courageous and caring,
a staunch woman who’ll
make you bask in her beauty
when she smiles around you.

She is innocence and artfulness,
truthfulness—no filters, no woes.
With her wheels of time,
that’s just how she strolls.

Adversity, every day,
makes my eyes water.
I can only be talking about you—
my cool Daughter.
