Destiny or Fate

poem by: Paul Stephens
Written on Oct 23, 2022

Some may call it destiny
Others call it fate
It doesn’t matter what it’s called
I’ve found my true soulmate

Be it by chance or call it luck
I know what matters more
That is to cherish the one I love
The one that I adore

I feel valued for who I am
A survivor of my past
The connection shared by both of us
Is the reason we will last

No one else could fill the void
Remove the sadness cause by strife
To feel your love wash over me
Something missing in my life

Yes I am true and reliable
What you see is what you get
I sensed that we would form a bond
From the first moment when we met
