Can I only imagine
Can I only imagine meeting Jesus Christ,
Face to Face on that blessed day,
All because He washed all of my sins away.
What do I need to feel worry or be afraid?
Can I only imagine? Can I really believe,
And trust Jesus Christ completely?
With no more doubts or no more fears
Now that I am in my golden senior years?
Can I only imagine the great catching away
Of His born again believers on that blessed
Day when He comes down and meets us
All in the middle of the air!
The dead in Christ will be the very first
To arise out of their earthly graves,
The redeemed saints of the church age.
We who are alive will meet them in the
Cloudy sky and so shall we forever be
Abiding in the presence of our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ forever more. What
Wondrous blessings are in store for us!
Will we be meeting you there or will you
Trust in your own goodness and be left
Behind? Cause trusting in yourself keeps
You spiritually blinded to the way the truth
And the life of Jesus Christ. Your good
Deeds cannot cancel out all of your sins.
Redemption and deliverance only comes
From your source of salvation, Jesus Christ!
