I lift up mine voice unto Thee
I love to sing about all of His mercy and His grace,
All about how He has n'er more turned away His face,
Away from His prodigal daughter, who has returned
Yet once again to my Heavenly Father.
And fully He knows largely due to the unfaithfulness of
Mine own earthly father, I did willfully become a prodigal
Daughter, but Jesus Christ will n'er let me perish in my
Willful sins and inequity, by His shed blood at Calvary,
He shed His pure blood to redeem a lost daughter such as me,
And for all of lost humanity and has welcomed all repentant
Sinners into His very own family. O by His Amazing Grace,
He has fully redeemed a poor wretched lost soul such as me.
All of my love in Christ Jesus, it is only possible for me for
Lo He has loved me before I have e'er loved Him and He
Has redeemed me by His mercy just as I am, His prodigal
And his plump wayward wandering lamb.
Lo for Jesus Christ is our good Sheppard who has laid down
His earthly life for all of the sheep of His sheepfold and His
Sheep hear His voice and we follow Him through thick and thin,
And a stranger's voice we do not know--He delivers us from him.
All of my love in Christ Jesus, He is my bright and shining candlelight,
Illuminating my path in the life's darkest shadows by day and by night.
And lo not only for me but for all of His sons and His daughters,
He is our guiding light and our Everlasting Father.
For He duly is none other than the Prince of Peace for all eternity,
Great is His Faithfulness lo even unto the likes of me, and faithful
He shall always be-- and He beckons all, "Return Return unto Me."
His gentle voice beckons all who would truly trust and obey Him.
"Come unto me all who are weary and heavy laden-ed and I will
Give you rest." He hides my soul in the cleft of the rock in a
Dry and thirsty land and covers me now with His hand, and
Covers me now with His hand."
All of my love in Christ Jesus, He is everything in the world to me,
I owe my love and fidelity and my ne'er ending gratitude for His
Deliverance from out of the snares of mankind's enemy who only
Seeks to come to steal, kill and destroy like a roaring lion,
Only seeking whomever he may devour, but He has no more power
O'er me or o'er all of redeemed by the blood of lamb of God's sheepfold,
For He delivers us from the snares of our enemy who shall ne'er more
Triumphant o'er all of us He has verily chosen to be part of His heavenly
Family and we shall forever bask in His ever lasting presence always.
