Yesterday, I turned 71 years young

O Yesterday, Yesterday, I turned 71 years young.
And I have fully learned there is nothing new under
God's bright shining illuminating sun,
Lo on October 04, 1954,
Jesus Christ has open up yet another door in
My life's journey.

O I used to believe that Jesus Christ would return unto
Me and rapture His bride before I turned 71 but I
Have learned the day of His return is still imminent
O Lo for His church is not yet fully complete,
And I have many more miles to go before I sleep.

Some of the watchmen and watch women community
Have freely chosen to fall fast asleep by no longer
Believing in our soon arrival through heaven's open
Door, but even though He did not return for me
On my 71st birthday, He will not delay.

Lo just as God has both numbered my days and the
Remaining hairs upon my head, He has told mine
Weary heart to never more fully dread whatever
Tomorrow may by chance bring unto my way,
For Lo He is with me always even unto the ending

O All of my remaining earthly days, and someday,
I shall forever see and forever bask in His glorious
Holy, Holy, Holy presence throughout all of eternity,
His uttermost promises that He has made unto me
And unto all of His children who truly do believe in Him.

O Yesterday, O Yesterday I turned 71 years young,
And there is nothing really new under God's sun,
But whatever may be my lot in this life, will fade
Quickly fast away because of His free gift of
Everlasting life for I belong to His family and

O I belong to His bride and His body and soon
Someday He shall be returning for all of His
Special children, including yours very truly,
And we shall forever singing His praises forever
And forever more what a glorious future

O Verily we have in store all because our
Humble and repentant hearts have
Widely opened up their doors and have
Inviting our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
Therein and we will always fully belong unto Him.

All of my love in Christ Jesus,

Wishful thinking

poem by Roxanne Dubarry

Why waste the time of day in wishful thinking? Why spin cobwebs in the air? Why wish upon a star, when no one hears? Many years I have spent in wishful thinking. Day dreaming most of my life away. Wasting away the years, Ign... Read more
