MY FRIEND THE SPARROW

lyrics by: Kenvil Atkins
Written on Jul 12, 2023

There is a little Sparrow
Sitting upon my window
It sings to me at midday
But what can be his use
It has me so confused
He sings to me at midday
A melody no way
I name my little Sparrow
Tell him about my sorrow
One bright morning
Before the sun was up
I saw him drop to the floor
Thinking him to be dead
But he was fast asleep in bed
