See the poem Ika Moana. My tribute: Te Tohoraa, The Whale, also the name affectionately given to a 1998 Toyota Dyna Campervan that I had the utmost pleasure of driving (holidaying in) to my Mokopuna. 1300kms around Aotearoa! The artwork is my version of Matariki. The quartz used for stars was collected by my oldest granddaughter’s mother and I at a beach in Thames. The glow is adhesive spray with black paint on a canvass. The tapacloth is my own
