Family History

poem by: Richard Eubank

Family history is no mystery
Just go ask one of our youth
You will find out and you’ll shout out
As you learn the simple truth

It’s exciting and inviting!
No more just a name and date
It can be fun finding loved ones
Who have passed the mortal gate

Go and find them, do not bind them
To the prison where they stay
Lift their spirits, can you hear it
Longing hope for you they pray

This is vital, gain the title
Of a savior for them all
Kneeling, feeling, do the sealing
You will never stand so tall

The Lord has told us, tries to mold us
Help us understand his plan
He wants to wake us and to take us
To eternity of man
