cravings

poem by: Robert Kohlhammer
Written on Jan 23, 2017

Gem stones and silkworms ,

rags, tags and labels

paper clips and staples

dried up leafy maples

the horn of a tree crown fumbles

for the crunchy chesnutty hazel

The tropical humid puddles

that splish and splosh prenatal

that get me gazing through my doubled up navel

That get me morbid if not fatal

clenching tightly substance anal

In my mother´s arms, she cradles.
