A Letter to Myself

Dear Amanda,
whatever you do in life, I never want you to forget a number of things:
(1) You are much more special than you realize. Your family brags on you for good reason. You are very intelligent, your test scores prove that completely and you will do great things in life with the knowledge you have.
(2) When you look in the mirror, do not look for mistakes, but instead look for what sets you apart from others and what makes you beautiful.
(3) Quit trying to make yourself more like others. If those around you don't like how you are, surround yourself with others who appreciate your uniqueness.
(4) Mistakes are how you learn. A few mistakes do not define who you are completely.
(5) Love yourself for who you are and love others for who they are.
(6) Be yourself and stop letting everyone change you. Only you can decide who you really are and where you go in life.

That's it Amanda! Stick to your list and you'll be fine. And I very much agree with Frank's (6).
