A New Year Forward

poem by: Andy Wilden

Oh hallowed gift so gold and white,
How I doth tremble at such delight.
Earth given bounty so rich and so rare,
To Lord and Lady, for the love they share.

Let thy goodness, bring enrichment to my soul,
Upon my shoulders thy blessings do toll.
Blessings and love to the four corners we bear,
Upon thine table, doth nature show care!

As I cast my circle so pure and round,
Let the energies come from cosmos abound.
Empower my circle, and grieve not the past,
With love and light and strength do I cast!

A beacon of nature, I doth wish to declare,
Into the pot, with love I do solemnly swear.
From power to power, thine energy increase,
Boiling and toiling, and bubbling not cease.

Raise all your wards and be ground into earth,
These are summoned on the New Year’s birth.
I give thanks to the new and out to the old,
With wisdom push forward and so I step bold.

Start the New Year with a purposed clear mind,
And carry your path with power divined.
Open your circle, a bounty you see,
with love and light, So mote it be.
