WRECKED

I have been there
Between a rock and a hard place,
Confined beyond acknowledgement,
No aid to trace the steps for concerns
The best stories untold
Buried beneath the silent,
Covered with the soil of saddens tale
Then washed away with the tears of spoken words
The martyred lived, but at what cost
