Photographic Memory

You make my eyes dilate!
And my mind's Shutter open.
I'm blinking the lens only so I can remember,
Click! to capture you
Click! to seize you
Click- Click! to take you
Advancing nostalgic scenes with the flick of my thumb.
I shall never run out of film for you, you are my focus.
So I Click!, to never forget how the light in this room made your hair shine.
I Click!, to concrete in my brain the way you dance when you walk.
Another Click!, to frame your figure perfectly between my bedposts.
Developing these moments that are taking my breath away
Chronicling everything about you.
#nofilterneeded
I'm trying to expand the aperture of my heart,
To make the depth of field between us shallow that everything is but a blur, except you.
Because when life flashes,
Exposing the subject of you,
I know might not get another shot.

Powerful and vivid imagery regarding the relationship between camera, your eyes, your emotions....savor and drink in every moment together and no other images matter other than two human beings that care for one another....I like it...write on
