The world is an open book
When you continue to grab education
You obtain valuable knowledge
What a bright sensation
The mind is an essential tool
Utilize it wisely
Be that sage person
Who articulates succinctly

Hi Your poem, has a really good overall premise and the rhyme is fine up until the last three lines. Because of the word "tool" the other two lines that need a rhyme ending would be very easy to do. The other thing you need to keep in mind is the syllable count. The syllable count is what determines the overall flow and polish of the poem. The place to go to learn about how to write poetry totally for free is the web site: all poetry.com They offer a wide choice of different types of free poetry classes, I have taken two of them. They are both fun and can be very challenging at the same time. I believe the beginning poetry class and its successor have helped me tremendously in my writing endeavors. I am sure it will help you too. The classes are well worth the effort in the end. The wisdom that is freely offered, is open to anyone interested in working to obtain it. Remember, any wisdom that you work hard for, are able to gain and then apply that actual knowledge to your life is: priceless. I look forward to becoming good friends with you and reading your critiques of my poetry or prose as submitted work. Best regards, K River
