The Calm

poem by: Claudia Piticaru
Written on Dec 16, 2017

There comes a time in some people's lives,
when the waves stop and the calming peace arrives.
Calmed by a God above,
providing never ending care and love.
Some have chosen to ignore,
not knowing whats waiting ashore.
They push away the still small voice,
and they decide to flee, by their own choice.
But when someone allows the master in,
satan tries to decieve them that they would never win.
But once again he was proven wrong,
and following Christ they trod along.
Safely guided ashore,
A child of God forever more.
