Lost

At a loss
Do I answer with the final cost?
Listen to that past thought?
Will I regret what I bought?
Gain the final lesson, but drop everything I was taught
Giving up on this struggle questioning what I even fought
So close to the edge of the bridge, I see that sun I sought
Grasp the handle before I’m caught
Will this ink ever reach your ears?
Passing my thoughts on paper since you couldn’t read the tears
It’s been 3 years but still have the same fears
Lost the one who would forever care
I’m sorry everyone, but this was to hard to bare
I never would do this I used to swear
But what I lost was my will, because now I don’t care
