People Like Us.

All the people you see in the town
Are going about their business.
Some who are singing on the street,
Some who are begging for something to eat.

There are all kinds of people in the town
They most likely do not know each other
But on some occasions they may say excuse me
or just pass you by.

They do not know who your name
Unless you see that person a far
Then they will walk towards you
to see how you are.

There are families ,couples holding hands
Children whom are roaming the streets
For they do not see that there could be danger
lurking in the street

Times have changed since we were young
For people could be or should be
More aware of what is happening in the street.
do not know what is or who is lurking in the street.
