Hold

poem by: Jay Shades
Written on Oct 12, 2017

Dark roads sometimes lead to the most derelict places
Hearing noises you've never heard
Or is it your imagination
A tense feeling overcomes you, the dark engulfs you, thoughts of the things seen and unseen
Can you hold until the end
Dark roads can become tight windy roads
Are your senses in check
