Thoughts of the Night

poem by: Rhys Aquinas
Written on Oct 11, 2017

I would love to be able to write
All the thoughts I think in the night.
But so often I can't remember
Even the faintest flickering ember
Of what once sat in my mind
And was seen by me of Dreamkind

I wish I could record
All of what I think
Then I would hoard
And pen down with ink
Every sight and sound
From Heaven to the ground

If only I could share
With someone who would care
And be able to taste
All that I paste.
Be able to smell
All that I tell.

If only my wish would come true.
Let me share these thoughts with you.

I think the thoughts come at night because we are more relaxed, and not caught up with the busyness of life, you must turn on the light and note all these thoughts down so that you can create wonderful poems like this one~brilliant!
