I'll Sit in this Park for Years

poem by: Julian Sun
Written on Jun 30, 2017

I’ll sit in this park for years
unwinding

this grass is in my thighs
these suns in my eyes
cottony wisps fly
through my still and floating chest

all trusting now
down

giving up this day

I've memories of being in the park with friends as a teenager.......and of sensing those moments would be special memories for all time - hard to explain .....but you just did . Brilliant.
