On And Off Air

poem by: Robert Kohlhammer

Armageddon, extra, bumper bonanza, bonus Jacuzzi newsflash
Reporting that this plane that we were on was going to crash.
With nothing to declare except the baggage we were handling.
Brace yourself, we may not survive but we will try a crash landing.

the wailings, the jet engines and broken wings rattled.
The sonic speed of adrenalin, unnerving as we travelled.
Sea crimson with fish paper wrapped in pincers of salt.
Reputable acquaintances were neither hunted nor harpooned

Cargo bay debris, the Conch and the Mermaid,
Sitting under a parasol with pods of pina colada.
Flotsam and Jetsam upon the terracotta sand, we embraced.
Downed in one, the wash with a subliminal sour aftertaste.

Social media networking , front desk, reception, referred.
All inclusive vacation, aqua tank deep sea diving.
Breaking news, bursting bubbles and sunbathing
are pearls of wisdom at the edge of every clouds silver lining.

Was this poem written by a computer program - Throw in a selection of parts of speech and see what comes out? Or am I being obtuse and unfair?

Worry
