Night, and Day....

poem by: Frank Hornby .
Written on Apr 20, 2017

"Where do I go, when night time calls?
When I drift off to sleep, when the darkness falls.
Unconscious, and helpless, I lie there in state,
not knowing if I'll wake up, unaware of my fate.
Lost in my dreams, in another world that seems so real,
my mind won't switch off, sometimes pain I do feel.
But once again the sun rises, another day soon dawns,
slowly I wake up, with stretches, and yawns,
ready to face the events of a new day,
It really is great to be alive!.....that's all I can say."

And you say it very well Frank, we just have to be grateful to wake up, and give thanks for a new day, some never do but, I think when the time comes we will welcome the next phase...fascinating.
