A Life Without You

poem by: Jenny Linsel

A life without you
Would be no life at all
No-one to catch me
If by chance I should fall

A readily available friendly ear
That always gives good advice
Your typical Cancerian traits
Always add a touch of spice

I’m a stereotypical Gemini
With a typical butterfly mind
Go on, admit it, it’s true
I won't think you’re being unkind

Putting up with my ever-changing moods
You must have the patience of a saint
You are always very tolerant
And I never hear one complaint

We can have a difference of opinion
But always try to see each others point of view
I often think I’m in the right
And often so do you

You are my reason for living
The ray of sunshine that brightens my day
You’ve got a permanent place in my heart
What more is there to say?
