Grace your freedom is heartfelt your company taken for granted grace your friendship distant and longing I yearn for you inside this shell awaiting your presence your motivating guidance and leading I am nothing without you nothing is who I am loss of freedom and self identity is no longer it is lifeless scratching agaInst times dissapproval a breath that carries no air a limp arm or tired soul this is not a life lived it is a squandering it is hanging standing up a reckless enduring a destination forgotten.grace my teacher with no classroom or books no chalk to the board or cane to discipline, grace I am lonely and afraid crowded surrounded by streaming words and loud singing moving up and over through and through. Grace my tears are quiet and still my body knowing nothing but earthly pleasures my mind an asylum and my heart wasted.grace your word is all I have and with out the high light I can blindly see the dark in the light a day that never came or a sunset that set for too long a sunrise.grace my friend whom I never got to know I walked with you daily you were always there I felt you.
