Seasons

Like a flower I bloomed in the spring
Full of life, full of opportunities
The novelty of the world was sinful,
The light of the world bright.

Summer heat rolls around and the waves sweep my feet
Full of wonder, full of desires
The reflection of the world was inspirational,
the future of the world soothing.

In autumn the leaves fall, as do I
Full of sadness, full of confusion
The picture of the world was beautiful,
The reality of the world dark.

Wind from the winter releases me from my darkness
Full of selfishness, full of failed dreams
The misery of the world was unchanged, the me of the world gone.

I will miss the colors of the spring, and the motion of the summer.

But I can't help but remember the misconception of the fall, and the darkness of winter.

The flower that bloomed in the spring, disintegrates in the winter.

But you wrote this beautiful poem; and THAT is a function of CREATIVITY, NEW LIFE, A NEW CYCLE and SPRING

A beautiful poem, yes winter can be depressing, but also a good excuse to get cosy before the fire and read a good book...keep writing.
