The Magic of Christmas

poem by: Carol Marsden

Christmas is approaching
Its spirit fills the air
Jingle Bells the children sing
there's laughter everywhere
Holly leaves and mistletoe
show the festive season's here
The sound of santa's sleigh bells
Show that he is very near
Christmas trees and fairy lights
The smell of turkey cooking
Chocolates hanging from the tree
Children eat when we're not looking
It is a really magic time
even better if it snows
Reindeer hooves and and Santa's sleigh
on rooftops clearly shows
Sleep peacefully now children
As Santa's on his way
All around the world he travels
upon his magic sleigh
In the morning when you wake
you'll find there's toys galore
all your dreams have now come true
you could not ask for more
A MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE
I think the child comes out in everyone at Christmas.....Childhood memories come back. I know that I saw Santa Clause with his sack upon his back.
