Time shows no remorse, Some say it moves too fast But don't let that scare you, Nothing was made to last. One day you'll look back, Your thoughts will scatter through memories past. You'll wonder where the time has gone, But know it has been with you all along. We live our lives controlled by the clock, You suddenly become late by a tick and a tock. We've been conditioned to believe you should spend your time with care, To compromise and prioritise with every affair. But the key is to forget that time was ever there. A time will come when you'll look down upon your frail and furrowed hand, Just when you think time has taken its toll you must understand, The fear of growing old can be as daunting as any, But this commodity is inevitable and a privilege denied to many.

A very thought-provoking poem. I loved the line "the key is to forget that time was ever there". We are marshaled by time and the thought of setting time aside (quite literally) is very appealing.

We are all in this time "machine," together......and we shouldn't fear death, because it is a natural part of our life.......I love the poem Sappho....
