The Nothing Poem

poem by: Rachel Cartwright
Written on Apr 17, 2012

I want to write a poem
But I don't know what to write
 Usually I get inspiration
At this time of night

But I guess I can't write a poem
 Cause now I'm too tired
But if I ever write one
 I hope you get inspired

This is really fun
 Not knowing what to write
 I don't even think
 All I do is type

I know that this is nonsense
But what is there to write
 How can I write something
When it's so late at night

Well there's always next time
Well I better end this write
I better go to bed now
So now I say good night!

I like just tossing words out and see what happens, no planning or thought, winging it, even it's jumbled and goofy.... best way to write I think... I like your poem because I stay up late too, good time to be inspired (it's ok to be confused)
