Mother Earth

poem by: Andy Wilden
Written on Jun 15, 2016

Mother of all earth hear my plea,
Shine your glory and dance with me.
Under the cloak of night, and the fairy sway,
Honor me your touch this night, I pray.
Caress me in your love and enlighten my soul,
Hear my intent and empower my goal.
Upon wisps of smoke raised high, i send my spell,
With earthen secrets ,i dare not tell.
Grant me the vision to see your mystery,
Open my consciousness to learn from history.
With earth, air, water and fire,
The seeds of life that i dearly desire.
Help me grow in body, mind and spirit,
Forge me through love, let the universe hear it.
Hail to the moon, hail to our lunar queen,
Upon her rays of light, her love can be seen.
Dance in her love, and sing your chant,
On this full moon night, in earth grounded we plant.
Our love to our mother we lovingly decree
Go with love, light and peace, so mote it be.
