A Magical Encounter

Feel the beat of the land, pulsing beneath your feet,
The rhythm of life, saturating your soul, invigorating.
The sound of drums beating in tune, pacing with your heart,
A deep thrumming of hooves set your inner desires on fire.
The chase has begun, on darkened night, with firelight and torches blaze,
A blood red moon, a warm sensual heat, blood racing, the hunt awaits.
The love of the hunter, tasting the fearful sweat on the summer winds,
The quarry heart racing, dodging and turning the lover pursues.
One false misstep and the hunter ever closer to the fear drenched breath,
A wrong turn and the cornered prey nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.
The drums they become louder, the pulse raising to a deep crescendo,
The hunter and prey fall to the ground, exhausted, embraced by earth.
As eyes meet they join in a deep gaze of victory and defeat,
Their hands meet and bodies entwine as one, writhing, heightened by the chase.
As eyes meet in a soulful, a deep passionate gaze as their breath becomes one,
So close that their pulses meet and beat to a singular rhythm,
A yearning embrace as blood, sweat and tears mingle as one.
Lips parted, bodies entangled in a state of heightened bliss,
As the blood red moon watches, the forest is silent and magic is born.
