Seasons of Life

poem by: Christopher Russon
Written on Apr 10, 2016

A mother's baby for all to see
Is like springtime
that brings forth
new born leaves.

Followed by summer days
a child growing in a world of play
The summer fades takes the childhood days away.

The flame of youth with changing moods
toss and turn like the waves of the sea
The calmness of the autumn wind
blowing away those golden leaves.

Winter along with frost and cold
a reminder that one is growing old
one more empty branch
another forgotten soul

The seasons of life start again.
