I need you

I need your smile to brighten these dark days, because I can't see past the bleakness
I need your voice to drown out these painful thoughts, I can't fight them anymore 
I need your eyes to see what I really am down inside, because I don't know
I need your touch to feel once more, for I've gone numb
I need your arms' embrace, because I am so insecure
I need your warmth, for this world is cruel and cold
I need your heart, because mine has long since broken
I need your love, because I love you
I need you
