Please excuse me if I care about my fellow man I never knew that would force me to take a stand I’ve never skated but now I’m radical For thinking exploitation is unacceptable The clothes I wear are products of child labor The neoliberals left scars in the developing world that I abhor It’s hard to be told what you think you know is wrong But you’re wrong The first step to waking up is opening your eyes Then you can discern between the truth and lies Once you see their fallacy That’s when they mark you down as an enemy Is it wrong to want to do something about my privilege? Is it wrong to want to undo white conquest? I just don’t want anyone to be below me And sure as hell not above me I refuse to believe this is just the way things are I refuse to believe you don’t have a heart There shouldn’t be any gods or masters to tell you who you are Just think about who you are
